Las barras act\u00faan aproximadamente a 50 mm de la superficie, bajo la cual debe colocarse un contraelectrodo conectado a tierra. Las barras de carga no son seguras al tacto y, de hecho, hay que evitar colocarlas en una posici\u00f3n f\u00e1cilmente accesible para los operarios. De hecho, la energ\u00eda puede cortocircuitar una parte del cuerpo humano, generando un arco el\u00e9ctrico. <\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">La secreci\u00f3n resultante no causa da\u00f1os graves, pero es dolorosa. La corriente continua, que var\u00eda de 25000 a 60000 V, alimenta el conductor del interior de la barra al que est\u00e1n conectadas el\u00e9ctricamente las puntas de carga. Es importante que las puntas no miren directamente al contraelectrodo, de lo contrario se producir\u00e1 un cortocircuito de arco el\u00e9ctrico y la varilla no funcionar\u00e1.
