Las barras se colocan cerca de la superficie a tratar y, mediante los iones que producen, <strong>eliminan las cargas electrost\u00e1ticas.<\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Las fuentes de alimentaci\u00f3n contienen transformadores especiales y cualquier sistema de control, y pueden tener 2, 4 o m\u00e1s salidas para otros tantos bares. Las varillas est\u00e1n formadas por conductores unidos con resina que transmiten tensi\u00f3n a las puntas ionizantes mediante una conexi\u00f3n capacitiva. La barra se conecta a la fuente de alimentaci\u00f3n mediante un cable de alta tensi\u00f3n con blindaje especial contra fugas de campos electromagn\u00e9ticos. Las barras suelen tener un di\u00e1metro de 20 mm, pero tambi\u00e9n las hay de secci\u00f3n m\u00e1s peque\u00f1a, de 15&#215;15 mm. La longitud de los cables y las barras puede elegirse a gusto del cliente, aunque no suelen fabricarse barras de m\u00e1s de 3 m. Las barras act\u00faan hasta 50 mm de la superficie. Tambi\u00e9n hay barras con certificaci\u00f3n Ex para su uso en entornos peligrosos. Todas las barras ionizantes Haug son seguras al tacto. Es importante destacar que existen barras comerciales con acoplamiento resistivo que no se pueden tocar por motivos de seguridad. <\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">La corriente alterna de 7000 V circula por el conductor del interior de la barra. Alrededor del conductor hay peque\u00f1os solenoides (espirales) que transportan las puntas ionizantes. El conductor y el solenoide forman una conexi\u00f3n capacitiva, mediante la cual se induce en el solenoide una corriente de alta tensi\u00f3n pero de muy bajo amperaje (15 mA). La diferencia de potencial entre las puntas y la carcasa de la barra, fabricada en aluminio, genera un arco el\u00e9ctrico invisible. Ioniza las mol\u00e9culas de aire generando iones positivos y negativos, con corriente alterna. Los iones, al incidir sobre la superficie cargada electrost\u00e1ticamente, eliden sus cargas, dej\u00e1ndola neutra tras pasar por debajo de la barra.
