linear strip brushes
The linear strip brush is straight and is cut to length during production. They are used for: accident prevention barrier in machine tools; chip, dust and vapour barrier; scraping of surfaces; soundproofing of moving machine parts.

Two types of guide rails made of sturdy galvanised stainless steel or aluminium are available for mounting the linear brush (Figure 2.6). Type (a) must be welded to the metal support, while the type (b) must be mounted using screws (Figure 2.7).
The available rail dimensions are shown in Table 2.5. The standard length is 1000mm for steel rails and 2500mm for aluminium rails.
